I honestly don’t remember being bored much as a 14-year-old. If it was evening and we timed it right, my older sister and I would catch Mr. Belvedere on Fridays and Family Ties or Cheers when it wasn’t. On the weekends, I was throwing a Pinky Ball (the greatest toy ever made) against a wall or riding my bike to a friend’s house.

When I was 14, I escaped boredom by blasting baseball videos and new music from my iPod Touch to the Bluetooth speaker I got for Christmas. The internet offers endless content, so I never ran out of either. When I needed to get out, my dad and I would hit in our backyard batting cage.
